I’ll use this thread as an example of why I try to never use wiki as source for, or proof of anything. Even if I know the material to be absolutely true, I can completely understand if someone doesn’t believe it.
I do, and I have since I joined the original forum back in 2012/2013. I called out #BLM A LOT, and have always stood out against rioting/looting. I REPEATEDLY called out Obama for having such advisers as Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, etc. I’ve NEVER supported far-left environmental policy, though I do believe there is a lot we can be doing better than we do now for the environment and planet. I’ve always personally been against abortion, though I believe the law on it is currently correct. I’ve called out the left in pushing for gun control that goes too far. In my time on these two forums, not a single time have I called for more gun control. I’ve never been a fan of Pelosi, and have made that pretty clear. I called out Hillary for “basket of deplorables,” failing to campaign in places she took for granted, and many other things. I believe Officer Wilson acted appropriately and that his shooting of Michael Brown was justified. The left was WAY wrong on that.
Those are just a few examples. And that’s the difference between us-I don’t pledge my loyalty to a party. You wear your GOP ID badge with pride.
A reasonable and intelligent individual would come back and say, you know what, I misunderstood exactly what happened, and thanks for the clarification.
These days criticizing the President paints all the Republicans with the same foul brush. The fact that they have shown no courage in dealing with this foul odor in the White House is of great concern. The administration’s “conservatism” has come to equal cruelty. Perhaps the lies have something to do with this atmosphere as well. The Nazis were just glad Hitler wasn’t picking on them as the whites in the country may be glad The President is not “banning” them. I do see a parallel in today’s political climate. The White House has legitimized name-calling and bullying. Thus, that’s what we see. Nazis? Not yet.
"The Wikipedia user who added “Nazism” seems to have a penchant for using the crowdsourced encyclopedia to harshly characterize conservatives. Only identifiable by an IP address, he or she also added “Fascism, Promoting Racism,” to the “purpose” section of the page for Turning Point USA, a right-wing nonprofit group. "
