I’m not a Trump supporter by any means, but I always support the POTUS, especially in a crisis. If Trump helps calm the nation and get America through this, I support him, And if it ends up getting him reelected, I can live with that.

Many people look to the president in times like these to be a calming leader and to give them the straight poop on what is going on. He has failed at doing this.

Wow, I guess you really have drunk the kool-aid.
I have been amazed at how many people have bought into his con game.
And therefore are not at all objectively critical of him overall. To say that his moral compass is superior to previous presidents is laughable. To dismiss his lies as less frequent as his predecessors is also laughable. I will say that it has gotten to be a breath of fresh air to hear some Trump supporters admit his shortcomings but defend his actions. I believe that at least they have kept some rational thought.

Let me clue you on something. We on the left are not “pro abortion”. We are “pro choice”.
And if that is your compass on a person’s morality you are certainly missing the big picture.
Funny how Trump supporters will not discuss or condemn Trump’s infidelity. It is laughable that those who condemned Bill Clinton will no be honest about Trump.
And Obama did not instigate Black Lives Matter. That was a grass roots movement based on the fact that there were cases of abuse by police on minorities. And although Obama did make some ill-advised comments at the time (Trayvon Martin comes to mind), for the most part he stayed out of it. As with any POTUS there has to be some buffer between the government and those who exercise their first amendment rights.
Trump is a con man, a liar and a cheater. He is totally incompetent at his job. And for those who sing his praises I can only say that IMHO they are not at all a good judge of character.
