This morning I watched video of a car driving through an airport terminal (in Russia.) Security personnel galore trying to stop it. Through doors. Baggage. Ticketing. Gate areas. (Note: The video was running commentary by a comedic youtuber of the keystone kops result. From 4 years ago. But nonetheless, the point of gun-free stands.)
Not a single shot by any security guy. I don’t know how many (or if) people got hurt. One shot could have ended the mayhem. In the end, the car drove off.
