He proved his point plus it is clear to all paying attention that the dems , to one degree or another , want to restrict guns.

We can also do more to keep military-style assault weapons off our streets. We’ll do that by:

VA governor wanted a bill passed last year that seized firearms that were legally owned. No grandfather clause. No compensation. Flat out seizure.

You aren’t getting them off the streets unless you’re “taking them away”.
The whole purpose of bans and red flag laws is to do exactly that.
I chuckle every time a gun grabber vilifies “ assault weapons”. Why because they’re black or magazine fed or have a pistol grip? AR-15 type carbines available to civilians legally are incapable of full auto firing; semi- auto only. Fully automatic weapons can only be owned (Legally) by those with proper Federal licensing. The goobermint knows who got the real firepower!
When the gun grabbers come up with a plan to eliminate illegal weapons and criminals with guns I’ll listen. Until then I’ll continue to believe their agenda is to disarm the citizenry so we have to shut up and eat whatever gruel they serve us.
