I think the better defense is that libs are playing within the established field. Nobody is challenging citizens United.

There are many that are challenging the CU decision. they have not gained much traction…but people are tring.

Ok find it’s not nobody. It’s one guy and one org. May be two guys and a woman. It’s not really important because as much as i dislike the decision there is no major push to overturn it because the dems simply adapted. Good!

No…it is not good.

Democracy should not be for sell to the highest bidder.
If, (and that is a big IF) Dems gain a big majority, they need to roll that back, and dramatically reduce the influence of money of politics. If they do not, the republic is doomed.

it might already be too late…I do not want any party beholding to corporate America, and/or a handful of billionaires.

CU was determined in Jan of 2010. Dems have never had enough votes after that.
Besides that, SCOTUS could have overturned those laws as well…

The only fool proof way to reduce rhe influence of money out of politics, is to amend the constitution.

Until then…were are screwed. Corporations and the wealthy will continue to run our government.
