I would find it hard to believe anyone who still supports Trump after the ugliness of the last few years is, deep down, a “good” person. A serial philanderer. A man who mocks the service of POWs. Who attacks those with physical disability. A man without the intellectual curiosity or worth ethic to really educate himself on the most pressing issues of the day. A guy who is now estimated to be telling more than two dozen lies to the American people each and every day.

If you look at all of that and say, “Yeah, that’s my man.” …what kind of a person are you?

I am saying that by any discernible measure of morality, Trump is an abject failure. Personally, professionally, and publicly. This isn’t even really debatable. So if you look at the unapologetically wretched behavior of an individual and don’t just ignore them, but actively support them to a position of power? Yeah, you are giving your okay to the actions of that individual. And that reflects a personal lack of decency.
