Uh, no. In fact gas prices fell in past 2 weeks. Thanks to Trump, after decades of importing energy we have become an exporter. He has also loosened the socialist community organizer’s stranglehold on drilling (that’s Obama for you public school graduates). If the Left were in charge none of this would be happening.

Not just Trump I might add by republicans in general, ignore the noise in the room it doesn’t take Einstein to realize that if you let you take the gloves off oil companies and don’t sit and b**** about increased production and fracking it will effect the price of gas. Democrats wants carbon taxes as well as taxing oil more, ending subsidies on oil, stop drilling in certain places. They don’t care about the price of gas if they did they would not support these policies which each on their on raise the price of gas there is a reason gas always costs more in California than anywhere else.

Hey three weeks ago, gas went up 10 cents, then fell 5 cents the next day after I’d gotten my gas.

The USA is energy independent, our gas prices are no longer are affected by foreign influences.
IIRC, Gas prices were below $2.50 a gallon during the last year of Obama’s Presidency.

Gas prices were much lower in 2016. I paid 1.50 for a gallon of gas back then.

I don’t. I find it a silly logical conclusion that is ignored by President Trump’s supporters. Energy independence was a stick beaten over former President Obama with until now where energy export > energy import is synonymous with energy independence and is a win for President Trump. Silly.
