Occupancy is not a problem at the Trump Resorts. That’s why you have to make reservations long in advance and expect to pay a lot more per night than at most hotels. So quit making ■■■■ up and just accept the fact that Trump did not enrich himself through the Presidency as almost all Presidents since the 19th century have.

Throwing someone out on the street is a pretty damned severe punishment for slander, even if third parties believed the slander and acted badly in response. Any way you look at it, these women are coming out of this experience better off than when they went in. So why toss the schmuck out on the street?

A sustained harassment campaign where strangers will levy death threats against you at random intervals will take it’s emotional toll.

In flouting the law and the courts requirements, and after being warned multiple times by the Judge, such failure to comply resulted instructions to the jury that they could then view this in the most negative terms.

So at the end of the day, the reason the jury didn’t consider Rudy’s financial situation is because he refused to provide the information for consideration. His own fault.

No, the verdit against him was “holding him accountable.”

But don’t worry - Giuliani will keep his luxury apartment, and the people he injured will never be made fully whole. You can stop the histrionics - the bad guy you support will never really be held accountable.

What would “making them fully whole” entail? That seems rather subjective.

If what happened to them happened to you, what would you consider sufficient to make you whole? And keep in mind much of the damages were punitive, not designed to make the plaintiff whole, but to punish the offender and send a message to those who might try to do the same thing. Deterrence theory.
