GIULIANI FACTS 'in the eye of the beholder,' calls trump the most 'honest' president in history

It all makes sense now…they lost their minds

It should be sad, but to me it’s just amazing to watch Rudy flush his entire legacy down the drain for Trumpism. “America’s Mayor” is now just “America’s Liar”. What a poor, pathetic person he has truly turned out to be.

Facts are not subjective. Rudy and trump are both disgraceful people who want us to believe they are. The reason is because facts incriminate trump.

When rudy says "this is how we are going to answer the Comey/Flynn question what he is really saying is that they intend to lie. This should be obvious to all.

:joy:

Forumers around here have expressed a similar notion, haven’t they?

This is why it’s a mistake to say that we argue about politics. We don’t. Like, with rightwing members of my family, they say: We argue about politics. No, I wish we did. That would be interesting and maybe useful.

We argue about reality.

And that’s the real problem. At some point, I hope we go back to arguing primarily about politics. That would be fun. I miss it.

Trump turns everyone who supports him into a liar and a hypocrite.

It’s his nature to turn people this way, because the paradox of his arrogance and low self esteem demand he only associate with people he thinks are similar to him.

It’s unfathomable that Trump & Co. have successfully swindled a good portion of the populace to think actual facts (unless fully in support of the man child) are not facts at all, but rather fake news.

A Narcissist’s Prayer

That didn’t happen

And if it did, it wasn’t that bad

And if it was, that’s not a big deal

And if it is, that’s not my fault

And if it was, I didn’t mean it

And if I did…

You deserved it.

Do you believe that facts are in the eye of the beholder?

One day I hope to love a woman with the sort of undying conviction that poster has in his bromance with Donald Trump.

For the right price.

“It’s in the eye of the beholder,” Giuliani said. When Cuomo tried to respond that factual statements are not in the eye of the beholder, the attorney answered with “nowadays they are.”

The Age of Idiocy marches on.

Some are; some aren’t.

For instance here is a fact to ponder. A glass is filled to 50% exactly. The factual result is verifiable.

But what does that factual information mean to various audiences. A pessimistic audience might see this as evidence of doom and gloom, while an optimistic audience might see this as a positive sign of better things to come.

Here is another fact to ponder. Black support for Trump has reached 21%. For the GOP, that fact would be seen as a sign that Trump is making inroads into the black community. DEMs would look at that number and remind Trump supporters that black support is still at 89% for the DEMs and that 21% is nothing to boast about.

And one more for good measure. Unemployment has dipped to 3.9%. For DEMs that is simply a continuation of Obama’s policies. For the GOP that is evidence that Trump’s policies are working.

I could go on, but you get the picture.

I didn’t cut down the cherry tree. It’s still there! It’s the biggest best cherry tree that ever stood. I love trees! Look at it - it’s right there! Don’t believe what you see, what you see isn’t what you’re seeing. A lot of people are saying no one chopped it down, and I know you’re being told it was chopped down and you think you see it laying on the ground - but believe me, cherry trees are more complicated than anyone knew.

Of the four possible stock replies that you ever make here, this one is my favorite.

Trump bashing threads have similar themes. This one is a variation of the “Trump is the biggest liar that ever walked the earth” theme.
