Oh my QM3 daughter would have fun talking to you.
Already regulated.
We don’t know how he got this gun. Chances are he stole it from someone he knows or maybe he bought it off the street. It’ll come out eventually.

“Regulate”: the Democrat Authoritarian Leadership’s code word for “ban”.
JWK
Our Founders intended ordinary citizens to keep and bear arms [a contemporary fire arm used by foot soldiers] so they would be ready and able to defend themselves against a despotic government if necessary. The AR-15-semi is a civilian version of the United States military’s M16 and ought to be kept by ordinary citizens to defend against a tyrannical government if necessary. Forewarned is forearmed.
There’s a reason that mass shootings are the only crime Democrats actually care about.

[Schoolkid calling 911 from a janitor’s closet]:
“I think the shooter has an AR-15. He’s gone through maybe five or six clips.”
[GOP]: ”AR-15s have magazines not clips. You have no credibility.”
[Schoolkid]: “THANKS GOP!”

I know this is silly, but this self-righteous “it’s a magazine not a clip” always bothers me. Because if you’re so into guns you should know that Americans call them clips because of the WW2 generation, and why.
The main battle rifle of the Army then was the M1 Garand, and the Garand doesn’t take a magazine, it takes a stripper-clip of eight .30-06 rounds. So to the six million or so men they trained to use a rifle, a clip was the thing with the bullets you put in the gun.
Yes that’s true. The Garand used an En Bloc modified Manlicher clip because the Army demanded that the bottom of the rifle had to be flush for existing parade drill procedures.
A decade after WWII, the M14 was adopted. And that was basically a heavily modified Garand that did away with the somewhat finicky en bloc system and went to a 20 round detachable box magazine. Because the Army finally realized that the advantages of a magazine made you disregard the need to change some weapons handling and parade training.
It’s not technically a stripper clip though. With a stripper clip you push the rounds into the internal magazine and then push the bolt home. The act of pushing the bolt home pushes the clip out of its guide. The Garand has an En Bloc clip system where you insert the fully loaded clip directly into the internal magazine. It’s ejected when the last round is fired. It’s a heavily modified version of the clips the Mannlicher rifles used.
I just like being accurate. I know in popular American lexicon it’s not uncommon to call magazines clips because of the Garand and the huge pop culture influence it had. But I still value accuracy whenever possible.
Glocks are “military style guns”. It’s the most common military handgun used in the western world. Almost everyone except the United States adopted some kind of Glock; we adopted the M9 Beretta and now an Sig Sauer instead starting back in the 80s. Most countries in NATO went for a Glock. And even some US spec units, who get to mostly choose their own handguns, adopted Glocks. Since the Glock, despite how insufferable many of their fanboys are, are literally the Toyota Corollas of handguns. They always work no matter what.

That’s just being a proper American.
Two world wars and a ■■■■ ton of dead Commies. 1911 has a stellar history behind it.

Really, in the context of today’s mass shooting at a school. so what?
Lol. Tell me you know nothing about firearms or the military without saying it.
Here’s a hint:
The military hasn’t had full autos or m16s in about 30 years.

It doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things. I was commenting on Tommy’s post.
We are talking about dead kids here. And dead teachers, plus 9 injured people. What makes you think your history of guns bull ■■■■ is appropriate here?
Since when are discussions ever solely about the topic?
It’s a pretty depressing topic with no real solution. I was just pointing out that a Glock is a military style handgun because dozens of militaries use them as their service pistol.
