What’s special about these four as opposed to those who were killed in Chicago or Baltimore or Saint Louis over the weekend?

That’s not common sense, it’s your sense. And it certainly does not qualify you to tell anyone else what makes sense or not.

Like Libs.

They project their own faults on others.

Great.

why the deflection?

if you want to start a thread on Chicago murders have at it.

this thread is about the 9/4 shooting. not whataboutism?

Allan

It’s not a deflection.

He supported his assertion that you only notice what you want to notice.

there is a SLIGHT difference between a mass shooting and a gang shooting.

Allan

I thought a mass shooting was determined by the number of injured/killed? Motive/gang connection to the shooting is irrelevant to whether it meets the definition bantered around of 4 or more injured or killed.

single person v a gang of people.

Allan

Gang affiliated shootings don’t always involve multiple shooters. Why are you trying to split hairs?

there is no broadly accepted definition of mass shooting. i separate the single shooters lone wolfs from the gangs related killings. others do not.

Allan

That’s funny, since 4 or more is what gets thrown around here a lot, no matter how many shooters…

but not by me, i separate the two crimes.

The righteous indignation of the bored and lonely (D)emands a good panty wetting.

It’s not a deflection. I’m trying to get you to explain your selective outrage … or to at least face the fact that your concern is selective.

You do a lot of things that others do not.

You are entitled to your own opinion Allan, but not your own definitions.
