It looks as if General Mattis will be resigning his post as Secretary of Defense. I wonder if it has any correlation to the rash decision by President Donald Trump, in removing our troops from Syria and giving Iran and Russia a big geopolitical victory?

Perhaps another one fired by Executive Tweet? I would not be surprised at all if it is related to the recent decisions by President Trump to withdraw forces from both Syria and now it appears Afghanistan as well. As the Commander in Chief, these are his choices to make. But I fear the results of these decisions, if they have not been properly thought out, and if he is going against the advice of the men and women in the military who know what it takes to end successfully.
