I’m old and retired. What else am I going to spend my money on so that my kids don’t get it all?

It’s expensive everywhere.
(The bottle I have cost ~ $110. The 15-yr costs ~ $130.)
That’s unfortunate. The Scotts don’t produce Bourbon or Rye.
Thats actually not terrible, I am more of a Bourbon drinker myself
I have tried the Whistle Pig 12 yr and its great very solid.
The peaty flavor of Scottish whiskey is something im still getting used to, I have a bottle of Blue Label gifted to me that I will sip on at times.
My most recent bottle is Japanese Nikka Coffee Malt Whiskey which I really enjoyed
I have a personal rule that I call the Mozart rule; if I don’t have the ear to hear the difference, I’m not cutting the check for the more expensive concert. I don’t have the taste buds to distinguish the difference and so I buy PiggyBack, which is the Whistle Pig 6 year rye…for $49.95

I am sure just figured the mark up in Fairbanks would be incredible
