Yes. Many, many people. More than 100,000 new homes were built in CA in 2020.

And yet, home prices still went up.

Yes homes are being built. Even in 2020.

In 2021, maybe?

California home prices are extremely high. Why? If you say regulations I’m going to ask for an example of a regulation that CA has no other state has.

Is not that the case in most States?

California had more new homes constructed in 2020 than any other state, aside from Texas and Florida.

That was not my question. (Sorry, I should have highlighted the pertinent phrase.) Is the cost of homes going up or down in the rest of the country.

A guy was arrested with 300 ballots, they have no choice.

All in the hopes that Feinstein dies before her term is up and he can appoint a republican interim senator.

Never was aware that was much of a possibility.

Thanks for pointing this out.

Tough to root for the demise of an elderly politician. They do have a very bad habit of never retiring.

I mean ballot initiatives, though. It’s how deeply unpopular budgets are foisted on legislatures which then have to fund prior mandates but without the requisite intake.

People are unlikely to sell their houses at a lower price when millions of people who will need homes are entering the US illegally. Supply and demand.

How many new homes did California build in 2020? How many houses were destroyed in the same year?

More than 100,000

Around 10,000.

Are those tents on sidewalks and beaches considered homes?

Are all homes houses?

No.

No.

Then, 100,000 homes were built. 10,000 houses destroyed. How many homes were lost from California stock in 2020?

Read that again but slower.

Those illegals aren’t going to afford million dollar homes.

I don’t understand what you’re trying to say.

We are discussing physical housing units.

Not all homes are houses. Were only houses lost from California stock in 2020? Or were there other kinds of homes lost? I’m trying to compare apples with apples. Not homes built to houses lost.

Not all homes in California cost a million.

500k average. How many homeless people can afford that?
