Right, and why certify the recall petition in the first place? it would be a lot easier to just say they didn’t get enough valid signatures so there will not be any recall vote.

Heck, with the way the recall works I still give Elder a good shot…but seeing the groundwork being laid out to claim “rigged” says it all regarding the future of the Repugs
It seems pretty plausible, with unrequested postel ballots freely distributed, that many ballots could be captured before arriving at their intended recipients, filled in by activists and returned as if completed by the correct person. Since most people don"t have any intetest in voting" they will not even worry about their missing postal ballot and never report it stolen. Those who happen to want to vote, whose ballots were confiscated, will find they have already voted and the “glitch” will be “fixed” via a provisoonal ballot.
However, the thousands of unreported stolen ballots will get through and be counted unchallenged, skewing the tally in the favour of the thieves
