Did the homeless problem get better or worse?

Exchange some of the onerous green house gas regulations for more low income market construction.

That’s not the holdup on low income housing being built. How about some solutions that actually address the problem?

Better for everyone at the low end of the wage scale and below.

Still doesn’t fix the problem. Also that trend started under Obama.and simply continued during Trump’s presidency

The choice will need to be made to really enforce immigration process laws so that the situation in CA will have a chance to show some real improvement on homelessness.

We can do it.

The whole market including most parts of the west is due to housing shortage due to covid, eviction bans, and no foreclosures has made the perfect storm of a house shortage not seen before. The evictions will clear some of it as painful as it may few can afford in this environment even the middle class much less the homeless.

A $400,000 home three years ago has become the new $800,000 wages haven’t done anything like that to keep up.

This would actually lead to more homelessness

However people are buying those homes at 800k, so there doesn’t seem to be a lack of demand.

Further even at 400k, someone who is homeless can’t afford that.

That’s not the problem either. Illegals are but a small fraction of those on the streets

That only affects middle income families. Higher-middle income if you want to get technical

Seriously. Wow🤦‍♂️

How does that improve the homeless problem? Its literally counter intuitive

Your argumental philosophy got CA in the mess in the first place.

We will just have to try a new course with Elder.

More like we actually understand what is happening here. Your solutions have been tried, they don’t work any better

And what happens to the talking points when he fails spectacularly?

Then what WILL work in a meaningful way?

Ah there it is.

Prioritized by whom? Are you going to tell a developer that he is not allowed to build single family units? Even though people want to purchase single family units?

Please explain how more $750,000 homes gets the homeless off the streets.
