You can count pretty well. Are you saying that’s the total? It’s all done now? What if it were mosques? Do you think the reaction might be a little different?

Semitic languages are properly understood as Afro-Semitic. That’s why most of them remain centered in Africa and the part of Asia (the Arabian peninsula) which runs right on up into it.

I’m the one who put forth the article of a BLM leader calling for destruction of churches.
You have done nothing to open a discussion about that. Just ask baiting questions. This is a debate forum not a word game playground.
So, what is your opinion on a BLM leader calling for the destruction of churches? Do you see any cause and effect from his statement?
his method is wrong vandalism is wrong.
but his point is worth having a conversation, why do we protray Jesus as White.
personal I think its simply us injecting ourselves into art, we are White so we view Jesus as White I don’t think it was a way to install white supremacy.

You posted an article. Okay. Are you declaring that this is the work of the Movement for Black Lives?
It’s what I originally asked because you made a declarative statement:
“So since BLM is attacking churches…”

The topic isn’t about mosques. It is about Christian churches.
Do try to stay focused.
Almost like how many have been burned down?

They already torched St. John’s in DC over a month ago. With the BLM influencer calling to “Tear them down”, we can expect this to accelerate.
You know … with every car that gets stuck in a traffic stoppage on the interstate because of a BLM protest, more potential supporters get turned into opposition. With every bar that gets torched, every corner store, every local deli, etc., more people get disgusted. And now, they need to expect that whole congregations will turn against BLM.
The “movement” needs a better PR man.
The issue with BLM is it has no national leadership they need a MLK or Melcom X.
You’re really good at giving bad advice.

“Tear them down” isn’t a valid form of discussion.
Hope that helps!!

Ask yourself why you know about the churches but not the mosques.
Why do you think that might be?

Oh goodie. More deliberate half-truth.
“Tear them down” is not conversation.
Yes, they were from Northern Africa.

“God made man in his image”.
It is a way of being able to relate as well. It certainly isn’t about white supremacy.
Jesus encompasses ALL races. Jesus takes all forms. There is no right or wrong if following his Word.
Destroying places of worship because Jesus is portrayed as being white is Black Supremacy and I can tell you, it ain’t gonna fly for long.

Sure it is, esp. with regard to liturgical Christianity.
We literally have the word Iconoclasm, because of it.
And let’s not forget we’re doing this discussing in a country whose prevailing ethos was, and in many cases still is, Dutch Anabaptist and English Puritan. You know, literal church burners, statue tumblers and image-defacers.

Depends on whether or not BLM did it.
