He’s God, He can appear as anything or anyone and it would make a whole lot of sense if he adjusted his appearance to best connect with the people he’s appeared to throughout history so as to be easily recognizable.
It’s not the least bit surprising that various ethnic groups have portrayed him as looking like their people.
It’s never been able to be accurately dated because of all of the contamination.

My link has actions against mosques going back 15 years. This is the first you’ve heard of them?
If you weren’t aware of 15 years of attacks against mosques and just brush it off as simple ignorance, you can’t feign outrage when others didn’t know about attacks against churches 3 days before a post. They can only comment about what they know about.
My “tactic” is if people are going to be outraged over attacks against “all houses of worship” then they shouldn’t get bent out of shape when people question why that doesn’t include all houses of worship. If people really didn’t know that this sort of activity has been happening to other religion’s locations, then I guess they do now. I expect they will start threads of outrage the next time a mosque, temple or synagogue is vandalized.
