Lot of “hate watching” going on last night.
I don’t watch state of the union addresses. If I want to be lied to and treated like a child I’ll pull up some old Soviet propaganda videos on YouTube and watch those instead. At least those are ironic and funny.
I just look up the highlights afterwards.

I didn’t watch much of it.
For the pre and post coverage (analysis) I flipped between Fox and CNN.
They were not providing any insight I don’t already get so I turned it off.
It is interesting though that FOXNews continues to trounce the other networks in so many categories and time slots.
…and what a shame it’s based on how they perceive Biden has negatively effected their lives.

I suspect its because Fox has the older viewer demographic locked in tight. Younger people dont tend to watch cable news and get their information from other sources. The speech was streamed on several sites.
Obviously its anecdotal but not one of my kids and one of them along with her husband are heavily involved in politics watch any cable news at all. Then again they dont watch network TV and all their entertainment is streamed.
I have above average income so inflation at the grocery stores does not bother me as much as some. Those with lessor incomes are having to purchase NEEDS at a much higher price. I must conclude that based on this fact and other “needs” that have gone up in price, the answer is yes.

Do you remember when I mocked the name, “inflationary reduction act”? The result were speaking of is a result of that act. Government expenditures compete with our earned dollars and the government on both sides of the aisle but predominantly the left, has been out of control in their spending for a while now.
