FoxNews rails against vaccine passports while implementing one…

Being ordered about by the CDC. Very authoritarian of them. Papers Please!

The cruise lines want to be able to mandate vaccines.

DeSantis won’t let them. That’s why they’re suing him.

You are mistaken. The cruise ship companies set the policy that passengers must be vaccinated. DeSantis used the power of the government to forbid the private companies from setting their own policies.

Are you sure?

Your article is old. The CDC lifted the no sail and DeSantis used the power of the governement to subvert the cruise line companies decision to require vaccinations.

The rules come from the CDC - but the cruise lines want to follow them.

Ok. If you say so.

You thought wrong. That article is from april. Cruise ships were allowed to resume in june.

That’s why they’re suing to overturn DeSantis’ law.

Are you sure?

Norwegian Cruise Lines says so.

https://www.miamiherald.com/news/business/tourism-cruises/article252761623.html

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings is suing Florida Surgeon General Scott Rivkees in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, arguing that the law prevents the company from operating safely by unnecessarily putting cruise passengers and crew members at risk of contracting the virus.

Desantis the government bureaucrat thinks he knows more then the cruise business.

Desantis is wrong here. Why would cruise line want to risk having a enclosed vessel with some sick people? let the business decide here. We need a “Don’t desantis my cruise” merch.

Did the CDC not decide?

NCL is suing Florida.

They want vaccine passports.

Ok, and?

Cruise line agree with CDC ruling. Do you see any cruise line suing CDC? They want safety!

And that is their prerogative. Did the CDC decide?

So Desantis should butt out if he wants cruise ships to leave from Florida.

Yes CDC did.
