Ok so if a Bar owner sees a person wearing a Black Power or Black Lives Matter T-shirt can the Bar owner refuse to give service to the person because of the shirt?
How much you bet it would turn into Race issue over the T-shirt in that situation.

I agree with the Ruling but i don’t think it would be held equally to all.

It is the same, because the Bar Owner is not removing them from the bar because they are Black but because of the shirt they are wearing. Which is basically the same as the MAGA hat they asked them to leave because of the article of clothing.

But as i said people would view the situation as i pointed out as racists. Like you did and not the same.

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;”

Thus Congress cannot deny funds to, nor grant special tax status or other privileges to religions.

Slap together a set of beliefs and call it a religion, and Congress cannot recognize the fact that you call it a religion.

The 14th Amendment
“No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States…”

Extends that to states as well as the municipalities and school districts they create.

Sadly,
many have decided to mentally rewrite the first amendment a “Congress shall not create an official national religion.”

It does not read that. It does not imply that. Of course to establish a state religion Congress would first need to recognize nice that a collection of beliefs has been established as a religion so “cannot establish an official state religion” is part of what it means, but that is a small part. It goes much further.

Black Lives Matter T-shirt is a Political Slogan END of statement. Doesn’t matter if the Black people can not be discriminated against for skin color. The would be removed for the SHIRT if they didn’t wear the shirt they wouldn’t be removed.
If a Black person wore a MAGA hat or a Confederate flag shirt do you think they could be denied service because of the hat or shirt it wouldn’t be seen as racists.
But once you put on a Shirt like Black Lives Matter then they can not be removed?
What about the places that refuse to server officers while in uniform? They have every right too refuse service.

You are the issue you seeing Black Lives Matter linked to Race only and not just a slogan on a T-shirt that can instigate issues in an establishment.

He is making sense, MAGA is a political slogan, BLM is a political slogan. For the purpose of his hypothetical, the roots of the political slogan are irrelevant.

Because you don’t understand the CASE and why the judges ruling was ok.
It had nothing to do with the actual person it was what they were wearing.

It isn’t that hard to understand.
Black Lives Matter shirt is not a PROTECTED SLOGAN OR CLASS just as MAGA isn’t.
A Bar owner can find Black Lives Matter T-shirt offensive and refuse service to anyone wearing one. Just as they can refuse service of people in uniforms or carrying firearms.
