Former Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch spoke with the House impeachment inquiry Friday; admitting she has no first-hand knowledge of President Trump’s phone calls or any foreign aid being withheld for political purposes.
“I’d like to briefly address some of the factual issues I expect you may want to ask me about, starting with my timeline… There are a number of events you are investigating to which I can’t bring any first-hand knowledge,” said Yovanovitch.
“There are other events that occurred after I returned, these include President Trumps call with President Zelensky, the discussions surrounding that phone call, and any discussions surrounding the delay of security assistance to Ukraine,” she added.
