If he’s not in government office, why is he relevant to a Politics thread?

His actions may have benefited off of his fathers dealings with other countries. It is a big deal if a President or Vice President self serve for themselves or their family. And we don’t want other countries benefitting a Presidents family in order to influence a President.
Plus, there were references to these influence peddlers actually meeting with Biden, though that has been denied.
