I didn’t say he did, any more than Trump did. Many thought, under Trump, that benefits received from foreign countries for Trump’s family was an emolument clause violation. These people don’t have the same scrutiny for the Biden family interests.

the emolument clause doesn’t apply to private citizens, which is why no one ever claimed Eric Trump violated it.

the only people who the left ever said violated the emolument clause were people employed by the Trump White House.
