Hey I know that we are funded by oil and corporate interests so let us make a list of what we think is best for their business, not individuals… and call that ā€œfreedomā€.

Sounds legit.

Do they rank ā€œlawsuit freedomā€ aka how hard it is to sue corporate malfeasance as good thing like Cato does?

Helps employment. :grinning:

With the downside of having to wait.

Wow… they rank getting shot by the police as a negative personal freedom… I wonder if Cato took that into account?

Can you shoot a Corporation?

I understand that, I used to call Texas home, but it’s no excuse to keep the draconian civil asset forfeiture laws, or the weed laws. Absurd. If I move there I’ll try to contribute to those who want to change that.

They have much more comprehensive rankings than Cato.

Legatum is a con think tank located in the UK.

Allan

Do you agree with it?

Do you really want to compare CA to Tennessee?

I’d move to Tennessee before I’d move to Commiefornia.

Cato is a libertarian think tank.

Ranked number 8 in the United States in influence.

Allan

It’s not even close.

California way more prosperous.

And freedom.

Also it’s not close.

If California was as affordable as Tennessee… we would be over populated.

But California will never be as cheap as Tennessee because California is far more desirable than Tennessee.

Remember back in the 90’s when they went to bat for the tobacco industry?
