You too? Isn’t one desperate rationalizer enough for this thread?
It’s not a rationalization. Sperm are alive and potentially human. As are ovum.
Just stop. You know that is not what is being discussed.
For the 10-20% whose pregnancy ended in a miscarriage after they know they are pregnant and examined by a doctor. How would law enforcement know if it was natural or induced? If induced, wouldn’t that be murder?
If they didn’t intend, but they accidentally did something that caused the miscarriage…wouldn’t that be manslaughter?
Just stop. You know that is not what is being discussed.
He’s right though.
Samm: PurpnGold: Samm:Are you suggesting that an embryo and/or fetus are not alive?
Skin cells are alive. What does it mean to “be alive”
Now you’re just being silly. The distinction is living being not being alive.
PurpnGold: Samm:A miscarrage is an accidental or natural death. You know, like crib deaths of newborn babies. They often, perhaps even most often, occur before anybody knows the woman is pregnant, including the woman herself. Good luck with your investigations.
But how would law enforcement know if it’s natural or not? Would require an investigation
The same way law enforcement knows there is a rape. The doctor would tell them. Besides … nobody knows she was pregnant … probably not even her.
Your desperation to say something pertinent has gotten the best of you. Your only rational path now is to just quit trying.

You’re getting ahead of yourself. I haven’t proposed what you’re arguing against.

No he’s not. He’s off in left field with you.
Striker840: PurpnGold: Samm:Freedom to have an abortion is freedom to kill your child.
Parental Rights do not include the right to kill your children.
Correct. But the term “child” is carrying a lot of weight here.
If by child you mean “born” baby…. Then you would be correct. However that doesn’t apply to a 6 week zygote, for example.
Not sure about you, but I have NEVER heard of a “zygote” or “fetus” shower, which tells me the usage of those terms is a way to “dehumanize” the baby, makes it easier to “get rid” of the inconvenience.
Before you say it, the majority of abortions are not performed for medical issues with the mother or child.
Nobody throws a baby shower at 12 weeks either. Baby showers don’t happen until the last trimester.
The majority of abortions are performed before 20 weeks. 99% before 27 weeks I believe.
Really?
NOBODY does?
Pretty declarative statement there.
But that was a nice try to deflect, my comment wasn’t on when, but you knew that.
Have you ever heard of a “fetus shower” before?
Of course not, but that is why you attempted to deflect.

Did you miss the question marks?
Nope. I’m not playing your specious game of hypotheticals.
And the baby is free to die, but not free to not die.
Do you hear yourself?
not a baby, hence the dispute about freedom.

Yes Allan, a baby. There has never been a pregnant woman who happily announced her situation who didn’t say she was carrying a baby. The only people who do not consider the person growing inside a woman’s womb to be a baby are those who wish to dehumanize it so they can pretend they aren’t killing a person when they abort it. Helps them sleep at night, I guess …
Go ahead and kill your unborn babies Allan, I really don’t care if your ilk curbs their procreation … we are probably better off if you do. Just be honest about it and admit that what you are killing is a human being who has just as much right to live as you do.
Yes Allan, a baby.
no samm, a fetus.
use correct terminolgy.
its not a baby until it is born.
i am against infanticide. lol. a no brainer.
Allan
You’re confusing legal terms with biological science Allan. There is zero difference between that unborn baby that you so willingly would kill and the born one that you won’t except in the way they receive nutrition and oxygen.
No brainer indeed …
You’re confusing legal terms
the terms are fetus for the unborn and baby for the born.
it only confusing to the layman who dont know the difference between up and down.
Allan
Not human?
Meditate on it, it’ll come to you.
hard to be free if you are forced to give birth.

Are they forced to get pregnant? Have sex?

ask the 10 year old in Ohio who was raped and could not get an abortion in state.
