Joining our military and serving our country is a great pathway to citizenship if the candidate has been thoroughly vetted. Those who have been offered and accepted this opportunity should be given a priority and benefit of the doubt until there’s a security reason to revoke the offer. This sounds like a better approach than the one a month ago. I hope those who were discharged can be given a second opportunity and be treated the same as is being done now?
