Authoritarian nanny state politically correct CentGov!!

Now this is getting pretty fascist.

Hard see how people can continue supporting these tyrannical right-wing governors who don’t appear to support small/local government.

Well that’s not surprising. Why is DeSantis on the side of Covid?

When you’ve dug a really deep hole, keep digging.

Wonder how many CBP agents are vaccinated:

This is interesting, don’t you think?

Abstract

Could some vaccines drive the evolution of more virulent pathogens? Conventional wisdom is that natural selection will remove highly lethal pathogens if host death greatly reduces transmission. Vaccines that keep hosts alive but still allow transmission could thus allow very virulent strains to circulate in a population. Here we show experimentally that immunization of chickens against Marek’s disease virus enhances the fitness of more virulent strains, making it possible for hyperpathogenic strains to transmit. Immunity elicited by direct vaccination or by maternal vaccination prolongs host survival but does not prevent infection, viral replication or transmission, thus extending the infectious periods of strains otherwise too lethal to persist. Our data show that anti-disease vaccines that do not prevent transmission can create conditions that promote the emergence of pathogen strains that cause more severe disease in unvaccinated hosts.

Someone give that sleezeball a shovel so he can dig faster!:rofl::rofl:

They might loose that battle if it doesn’t become approved soon. They lost in the Anthrax case.

So, like when the states won’t do what the feds want they withhold funds to the state to make the state knuckle under and do their bidding only it’s the state playing the fed and the locals playing the state in this melodrama?

its under 50% in israel, but thats with just pfizer vaccine. i think having more than one vaccine is helpful.

the point is, the antibodies will die off, immunity will fade. getting the vaccine provides temporary immunity. what we need to concern ourselves with is will those memory cells work. eventually, everyone who can get covid, regardless of vaccination, will get covid. will it be a bit of a sniffle for a day? a mild cold? a cold that won’t go away? one of those pesky summer colds? a mild flu? your average crappy flu? swine flu? ebola? or will you even know you had it?

isn’t the governor supposed to enforce the laws of the state?

If someone broke the law, charge them so they can stand trial.

Summarily taking their salary with no trial is authoritarian.

i believe he said the state board of education could do it. if thats the law, and the enforcement mechanism in the law, then they knew or should have known what they were risking. too ■■■■■■■ bad.

But it’s unjust for lawbreaking to have consequences. Many Democrat DAs are saying so.

Not a good look for Desantis…well played by Alberto…

“Miami-Dade Superintendent Alberto Carvalho, who runs the fourth largest school district in the nation, released a statement in response. It reads, in full:

“We have established a process that requires consultation with experts in the areas of public health and medicine. We will follow this process, which has served us well, and then make a final decision. At no point shall I allow my decision to be influenced by a threat to my paycheck; a small price to pay considering the gravity of this issue and the potential impact to the health and well-being of our students and dedicated employees.

“I want to thank the Governor for recognizing that students should not be penalized.”

It sounds to me like he is reinterpreting the law after facing blow back for it’s effect on school districts.

I don’t think summarily penalizing a person for allegedly breaking a law will pass muster.

Wait till’ Trump jumps on top of DeSantis too!
What Trump jump on Ronny?
Yeah’ just wait.
Ronald is just paddling out further, and further, and further…
Floridians see Ronald as a fool these days, because well, he’s just acting stupidly.
“I just gotta’ keep paddling.”
“That’s it, just paddle… paddle… paddle.”

Damn- this is only gonna get weirder for DeSantis. But his hole is so deep he can’t dig out or he wouldn’t appear like the “macho man” he thinks he is.
