Now you are just getting absurd.

Fauci first answer and instinct on public masks was the best and correct answer.

Focus on the vaccine.

That is what will make the difference…unless your goal is 2022 mail in ballots.

Not a lot…no…they do not.

Only vaccine does this.

The virus is here to stay…kinda like the flu.

cloth masks do nothing, how many actual studies have to conclude that before you’ll believe the science?

There are still 125,000 unvaccinated people in the state. The 7 day weekly average is 150 cases per day. Seems about the usual rate for Delta variant.

Background noise.

Time to live life.

Kinda like the flu season.

I’m still waiting to know why the poster you were replying to was “wrong.” Here comes another media, Fauci, lib rant without answering that question in 3…2…1…

Vermont was extremely locked down this winter - you weren’t supposed to travel to the state without quarantining or testing. Ski resorts - the largest tourist industry in teh winter obviously - asked you to sign an affidavit to that affect.

The result is, their winter spike is lower than many other states.

Now they are fully wide open, the delta variant is breaking through vaccinations, and there are still some not many, but some unvaccinated.

What is interesting is, the deaths were just never that high. Y axis on that graph is incredible when you compare it to other states…2 -4-6-8…

And presently they are are having 0-1-2 deaths a day despite the delta spike…seems to prove the vaccines are keeping us alive if not uninfected.

Not cloth masks no, that’s ■■■■■■■ stupid.

whoops.

Like I said… background noise.

Not absurd at all.

CDC tried relaxing mask rules to get people to vaccinate. Didn’t work.

You can find various lists, all boil down to the same basic things for mask hesitancy.

  1. Lack of access, real or perceived
  2. Covid-19 isn’t seen as a threat
  3. Vaccine side effects
  4. Lack of trust in the vaccines
  5. Lack of trust in institutions
  6. A variety of conspiracy theories

If you think removing masks will magically restore trust in institutions, there’s one down. Everything else is unchanged. The people who aren’t getting vaccinated now wouldn’t get vaccinated if you burned every mask on the planet.

The CDC ruined it’s credibility with the mixed mask message.

Fauci first response was correct.

Now the entire CDC is political in those who refuse the only tool that works…the vaccine.

The mail in ballots won’t fly next year. FWIW.

lol, try again, leftist rags opinion s don’t impress

Changing mask emphasis won’t change vaccination rates. Perseverating on mail in ballots won’t either.

I am unconcerned either way.

You wonder why…I point out the way.

Continue carrying on over the ineffective masks.

What are you talking about, it is not their opinion, it’s a randomized trial involving 350,000 people from 600 towns and villages.

We have global data from the last 18 months that clearly show a negligible impact.

Just like Fauci first response.

Huge waste of effort.

There’s good news though. 79% now say they either are or will get vaccinated with the recent surge in covid cases among other factors. We may get to 80% yet.
