So more than one thing can be true.
Immigration laws are ■■■■■■ up and need fixing.
Putting migrants on a bus and dropping them on on x-mad eve in frigid weather is cruel and pointless politcal theater that wastes money and hurts real living people.

Sure. But this is a signature issue for the gop. I would think the house will jump right on it. And yes they will have to work with the D lead senate but hey, that’s part of the job.
They ran on border security. Time to make the donuts.
which has absolutely zero bearing on title 42 unless covid is once again an emergency.
the solution is simple
- enforce the law
- build the wall
keeping title 42 iin place for expedience will not force the brandon regime to change its policy, it just gives them a way around it that leftists don’t squeal about. end it, expose the administrations complete ineptitude.

So waste tax payer money dropping them off some where equally not prepared for them?
Bet the govs mansion has some extra rooms. Lot cheaper to bus them there.ore Christian too to take them in on the eve of the north of Christ.
But not as much fun I guess.

They’ll put forth legislation, no doubt. It will go nowhere.
I’ll bet they won’t invite them to surge. Avatars for a month?

Washington DC is not overrun.
Why is Washington not prepared? They had 3 months.

You feel politicians should not have to deal with, or even see, the consequences of their decisions?

Yeah, just let them languish at the border sitting around campfires, sleeping on the sidewalk in El Paso drowning in the Rio Grande or dying in a pile of cattle ■■■■ on a ranchers field because the fentanyl ballon they were forced to swallow by cartel thugs burst. Where was the compassion when that dumb ■■■■ invited them here in the first place?

Aren’t we being told this is about asylum, not immigration.

It’s not demagoguery.
Treating foreigners humanely is not equal to “letting them all in”.
I am enjoying the cartwheels over trying to spin what Gov Abbott did as something that wasn’t cruel.
I got the politics of sending these folks to blue states.
But sending them to a place with frigid temperatures…and not warning anyone you were doing it…was just wrong.
Not hard to say you (collective) agree with the policy, but in this case, Abbott was wrong.
That you (collectively) can’t say it speaks volumes.
so leviticus doesnt apply to christians? does that mean the 10 commandments which are lain down in the same chapter are invalid?

El Paso had frigid temperatures. And no room at the inn.
True, but you are letting them all in and El Paso is not capable of treating them all humanely. So the humane thing is to help them get to the help.

Abbott was wrong.
Abbott was right for Texas.

It means your post was invalid and the fact that you’re unaware, simply shows your ignorance on the subject you’ve chosen to interject.
BTW…thou shalt not steal is one of the commandments. Those crossing the border illegally are stealing.
