Sen. Chuck Schumer faced a growing backlash from his Congressional colleagues this week after directly threatening two US Supreme Court Justices; ignoring comments from just weeks ago where he blasted Donald Trump for “attacking a judge.”

Now would be the time for the Chief Justice to directly and specifically defend the independence of the federal judiciary. I hope he will see fit to, and do it today,” said Schumer on February 13th.
