Have you ever heard of this phrase…“voter turnout”? It is not latin nor some obscure phrase. It is a strong factor in elections. Not everyone votes. But if those people who don’t vote have a ballot mailed in for them in support of candidate A, then this factor in the election swings the outcome to support candidate A.

I know, I know… it’s complicated… like tensor calculus combined with vedic astrology. But you asked.

And the postmark issue simply allows liars to suddenly “find” ballots-as needed- to counter the votes of legitimate voters as the results are tallied. Its just insurance if the liars didn’t judge the initial vote correct. While ultimately, many of those ballots will be found to be fraudulent, it will take an analysis and investigation. Meanwhile, the electoral college must vote and TDS protestors have to earn their pay by spreading violence in the streets, calling for the removal of Trump. It is really a scorched earth approach to defeating the true will of the American voter.

I’m sorry, I still don’t understand the mechanics of your fraud concern.

Since every ballot is unique to a voter, how will someone gather those ballots of people who don’t plan to vote and fraudulently complete them, accurately forge the ballot owner’s signature and mail it in?

Clearly it’s my responsibility for how long it takes the Postal Service to deliver my mail.

You have no responsibility for the post office.

You do have a responsibility to see that your vote arrives at the poll station on time, but only if you want it to count.

If you really want it to count, instead of relying on others, perhaps you should go to the polling station.

Sounds like a risk we could easily avoid by allowing ballots to arrive after Election Day as long as they are postmarked by a certain deadline.

Or we could throw our hands up in the air and accept mediocrity in our voting system.

I agree. Petition the congress to make it a law. If you can get 275 to support your position, and 3/4ths of the states, it could be a constitutional ammendment!
