FedEx faces decline in Christmas volume, decides to layoff drivers Dec 1

Yeah, because employees aren’t entitled to a decent living while record profits fall a percentage point or two.

Entitled?
“Decent Living Wage”?
Record profits?

Funny how they announced those layoffs after the election…same with Facebook.

Pretty remarkable how that was so cleverly timed

Getting ready to pay the ultimate price for locking down the economy except this time it’s liable to be much worse than 07-08 with the price of living.

Yea, FedEx sucks. 90% of my orders from them don’t come by their date, often just randomly sitting in some city for a couple of days.

Or UPS? I highly doubt any UPS driver would work for the crap money Amazon pays. I wouldn’t deliver anything for 18 an hour. Let kids have that job.

A FedEx driver delivered Walmart’s pharmacy order to my house. I had a huge bag of oxy everything. You get what you pay for. That includes employers.

Wow… I assume they made you sign for it?

Negative. Just dropped it at my door. I was expecting a package that did not need signing. The driver just gave me the wrong box. I delivered it to Walmart myself, hoping they got my package.

Damn, that’s a big ■■■■ up. Good thing they left it with a good person.
