I refinanced last summer, got 2.375%.
That’s basically interest free.

Very nice! 30 or 15 year?
30… which is an insane rate.
Low 4s? I think 2017 and today are about the same generally?
Whoa! I got a 2.5. You win.
I almost bit on the 1.75% 15 year, but the math worked out that the $1000 or so monthly difference between the 15 and 30 would do better invested than the interest savings.
Plus I’m constantly terrified that eventually everyone at work will decide I’m grossly incompetent and I’ll be fired!
Oh nice! The 3% fixed rate is awesome. Too bad that piece of the bond is zero today, but 7.2 risk free ain’t bad!

Sorry, can’t concentrate on the economy, worried about nuclear bombs.

I’m not lazy. And I like reminding you you voted for that idiot.

Then just say he’s an idiot. Brandon is someone else’s name…
That’s good on an investment property. My rate was on a primary home

I tend to turn my current home into a rental. Paid off my first home that way.

Yeah… I was surprised given that everyone knows that interest rates are going up. Locked into that rate for another five years.
