Walmart mandates masks. Not all states mandate masks.

Also, as we have seen recently, many areas are limiting polling locations creating large crowds. Walmart limits the number of customers in the store.

If voting is handled like walmart handles in person shopping, then I agree, voting in person is fine.

There are not “lots of cases” relative to the millions of mail in votes that have been cast since the 1990s.

And there is a mail in voter fraud court case taking place in Pennsylvania right now where President Trump was told to file his evidence of widespread fraud with the court yesterday.

My mailed in ballot will be no less valid than your in person vote.

Bulk mail in ballots in a National election could very well cancel out valid votes, it could disenfranchise an entire State and put the integrity of the vote in question and litigation for months and possibly years. It sets up a Constitutional crisis the Democrats don’t want to waste.
