To be found guilty of making a false business entry, the entry must first be a business entry, and it must be false. It was neither.

Exactly plus even if it had been anything illegal it would have been an EXPIRED misdemeanor.

Bragg changed the law for this one case and also bumped it to a “felony” .

First time he had ever bumped a misdemeanor to a felony. He bumps a high percentage of felonies to misdemeanors normally.
