I would be more than happy to see you get ■■■■■■ over by the corporations and rich folks you adore except that it’ll affect me too. I don’t want my internet access to be determined by an ISP oligopoly.
Currently, there are not enough people working for the crab-picking plants on Maryland, eastern shore because of trump’s immigration policies. Those people still don’t think it’s trump’s fault and they’re losing their businesses. Chalk one up for another job that Americans won’t do.
ahhh…change is soooooo hard for “progressives”.
Call_me_Ishmael:libs… you could not care less what I pay.
What are your REAL reasons for wanting “net neutrality” ? No more fake reasons.

I bet there are people who would like to share your house too. But you own it.
Ya only Comcast can provide that “nudge”
asks what the issue is. posts a pic of a cow.
could it be any more fitting?

comcast will do everything they can to stop the nudge.
D- on reading comprehension. But at least you used the word “nudge” correctly in a sentence.

go back to pork belly futures. This tech stuff must be boring to libs.

hey, don’t lash out at me. you’re the one asking questions way too late. i’m not explaining it to you now.

^ see what i mean. here we are at the point when NN is ending and people are still trying to figure out what it is.
its expiration will be an opportunity for someone if the hair-on-fire lib fearmongering comes true. Choose your tech stocks wisely.
You libs don’t have a first grasp on where we are with technology. The alternatives to the status quo internet industry only need a little nudge to blossom again. Nudge? What causes nudges? Needs? Unmet needs. Necessity. Did I mention … she’s pregnant? John-Boy Invention will have a brother.
As with all socialistic concepts, the proponents of these concepts think of people as cows… cows that are happy when they are contented … fat contented cows … who get everything they want. And when they get their happy box of community bread, sausage, and internet they are easy to control. And ironically THEY… the socialists … will even turn to their supposed nemesis, economic fascism, to enforce their methods. Economic fascist methods - operational control by the government that has every authority of ownership - will help socialists create the appearance of achieving their goals. ( But in reality, the “people” still own nothing because the government takes their money to pay for the effort of forcing the goals of socialists.) Contented cows. Chewing the cud, happy gettin’ the data juuuust the way they like it.
After a quick surfacing for air, right back down the rabbit hole.

I’m not the only one.
I read your hysteria just fine
Lol. Didn’t happen before because the isp corps were into fostering the internet. Now that it’s established they will go for the throat. It’s happenig in other countries as we speak. This is not guess work. We know exactly what it will look like.
You don’t know any such thing. Advances in the field will get us over the temporary video content crunch. The government needs to concentrate on one thing, making sure there is no monopoly, competition and better tech will take care of the rest.
CaughtInTheMiddle: Oryx:Most people don’t understand or care about net neutrality, but maybe they’ll look into it when their bill goes up or their service changes or both.
this reminds me of that town major in alabama who recently was complaining about Trump’s EPA and it relaxing rules for coal ash ponds (since their town had had multiple issues/spills into their water). i researched their county…
- Predominantly white
- Poorer
- Voted heavily for Trump
They basically shot themselves in their own feet.

No such thing a job an American won’t do, only wages they won’t do it for.

but crabs are staples…essentials. Prices will go up and - OMG…I can’t even think about it. THINK OF THE CHILDREN !
this isn’t really guesswork. We have seen what happened in other countries without net neutrality laws. We also have seen how corporations react in our own country when given similar opportunities.
And the cherry on the sundae is that these are the most cutthroat, corrupt and dishonest corporations in the country.

I am completely happy with my broadband provider. I get cable, phone and high speed internet for about the same as my local and long distance telephone bill used to be under strict government telecommunication regulation.
adjusted for inflation that is
And they’re all starting to panic over 5g. That will drive prices even lower.
Wow, sounds like common carrier regulations have been a nightmare for you.
