where will poor people live? this is ny and the combined rent for 3 properties is 23K a year. less then 800 a month. seems to me this landlord was providing a necessary service to an underserved community. unlike you and your partner who can weed out that community… hmmm

even renting to the dirt bags would be a minor problem if they could be evicted.

i’ve heard this argument on other subjects before, and am fairly certain you blamed it on… trump
The only way that could happen is if I did not have the information that the states were actually sitting on the money. That’s a game changer.

Your property.
Landlord. Not a primary residence home.
Do you understand the difference between a rental property and a primary residence?

It is their property. They still have to pay the taxes and the mortgage.
The government has no right to interfere in preventing evictions for those not paying their rent.

You are having trouble following the conversation.
If it is a rental property, they should have it under an LLC. If they had it under an LLC then they should be eligible for a PPP loan. All of these posts saying “what about the landlords?” Don’t know what they are talking about because landlords who setup their rental property the correct way would also be eligible for a PPP loan (or other relief programs for SMall businesses)

Not everyone knows to set up an LLC. The bottom line is they wouldn’t be in this situation if they were allowed to evict non paying tenants.

The result would be more homelessness. Are you ok with that?
