Evicted son Michael Rotondo takes child support fight to U.S. Supreme Court

That link is to his motion to proceed “in forma pauperis” before the Supreme Court. Notable, because it includes his declarations of income, assets, debts and liabilities.

Link to the 5 page Petition for a Writ of Certiorari.

To jog your memories, Michael Rotondo is the same pathetic piece of **** that was recently kicked out of his parents home after high visibility news coverage.

This whole case is nothing but him trying to beat a child support obligation. And he has actually appealed to the United States Supreme Court from the New York Court of Appeals.

Now, we already know how this is going to end, undoubtably, the Supreme Court law clerks in the cert pool have written a one or two line memo regarding this Petition. The Justices will see that memo and promptly DENY the Petition and it will all be over.

Interestingly, this is his THIRD attempt at the Supreme Court, the first relating to getting kicked out of his parents house.

If he put the effort into getting a job and paying his child support, instead of filing stupid legal petitions, he probably WOULD be able to pay his child support. Instead, he likely will be going to jail in the near future for failure to pay support.

The sad thing is, the Supreme Court is regularly flooded with thousands of these kind of pointless petitions that have zero chance of ever being seen by a Justice, let alone granted.

And the fact that he is paying hundreds of dollars a month to store a non-working car instead of supporting his kid really casts true light on the entitled attitude of this moron.

I highly doubt they will waste their time on this case.

The Justices won’t waste their time, because they will never even see it.

The 36 law clerks (4 to each Justice) review all incoming Petitions. For 98% to 99% of those, they will write a single paragraph recommending the Justices DENY the petition. When it gets to conference, the Justices read that one paragraph and vote to DENY, without ever reviewing the Petition itself. Maybe 1% or 2% of the Petitions are ever even seen by a Justice.

It is a good system and ensures that only the law clerk’s time is wasted, not the Justices.

Agree Justices should only deal with major cases that will have a large impact on existing law.

This guy is a pathetic piece of ■■■■ and I’m embarrassed that he lives in my town. He really should go the ■■■■ away.

Shoot him in the head and put us all out of his misery.

Just a side note - I’d LOVE to see how Judge Judy would handle this low - life.

I wonder if he has ever had psychiatric help? Honestly, it seems that he has some very serious issues that should be addressed.
