It was largely solved in June of 2019 after President Trump arranged a deal with Mexico. We would not ban their products and they would help block illegal traffic into the US. This could have been solved with extending the wall and increasing border defense.
It was largely solved until Biden broke it.

Immigration issues could be in much better shape if Bohner allowed a vote to come to the floor in 2014.
