The new press secretary proudly announced “for the first time ever, a gay, Black woman is the White House press secretary”. None of that was earned, but merely traits she was born with. That’s why I said traits and beliefs are touted rather than accomplishments.
Here are a list of “accomplishments” the left likes to brag about:
- Being gay
- Being anything other than white
- Being trans
- Being vegan
- Being atheist
- Being against fossil fuels
- Being against the patriarchy
- Being pro mask
- Being pro COVID vaxxes
These virtues and accomplishments take zero work; they just have to claim it. Feelings.

I still have not heard anyone give a straight answer - if they or a loved one needed a life-saving operation, would they want to hire the best doctor in the field or whatever seemed most diverse - i.e. “I want the first transqueer non-binary Vietnamese immigrant to perform a life-saving heart surgery!”

Now I have to admit, that puzzled me too. I figured surgeon general would have been more fitting, but as far as I know, he did a good job, but feel free to bring up anything he did that wasn’t good. I won’t dispute your legitimate criticisms here…
And let’s not forget the lefts unrelenting (lies of course) about Trumps poor handling of Covid. That lie pretty much cost him the election. Remember when TJ said any president that presided over 200,00 (or maybe 250,000) covid deaths shouldn’t be president? That HE WOULD LOCK THE VIRUS DOWN, not the American people! And then TJ finally admitted the truth when he said there’s not much the government can do to stop a virus…No, you’re right, if we had an actual leader again on the White House, this country wouldn’t be on the verge of collapse and we wouldn’t be dealing with a war in Ukraine either…

Here’s your statement: “ No, I don’t think shutting down pipelines and halting drilling has much of any effect on current oil prices.” Do you not understand that getting oil out of the ground and to a refinery and to gas stations is a very expensive process that takes a lot of time and money to accomplish? Oil companies spend billions of dollars to first find the oil, then drill, then transport, it may take years to produce oil profitably in a given area. But it only takes a few seconds with a pen for a president to stop them dead in their tracks causing a multi billion dollar loss and loss of the time it took.
Biden campaigned on eliminating fossil fuels. He was going to continue the war Obama started against the fossil fuel companies and do everything he could to shut them down and make the production of fossil fuels prohibitively expensive. You Libs continually claim that shutting down keystone did nothing to reduce current supply or raise current prices. What it was was the opening salvo of Biden’s war against fossil fuel companies. On day one in office, It showed them exactly what Biden’s intentions were. Their every intention and plan to produce and transport FUTURE oil was immediately put in doubt. Why the hell would they continue future plans to find and drill knowing the ass bag in the White House could shut them down in a second?

Yes that could be true for some, but that has nothing to do with me.
The left doesn’t consider those descriptors or positions as accomplishments. The accomplishment isn’t that she’s gay, or black, or woman… its that these are all identities that have a history of second class treatment and so its considered an accomplishment that someone with these identities lives in an age when they can have a high and public position in government.
The vegan and atheist thing is funny considering there are plenty of omnivores and theists on the left.
