Here’s what the moron in the White House said yesterday. “The idea we’re going to be able to click a switch, bring down the cost of gasoline is not likely in the near term, nor is it with regard to food,” the president told reporters following a White House event with baby formula manufacturers.

Parents in America can’t find baby formula. I’m genuinely concerned we are going to all be facing a food shortage coupled with recession by the end of the year.

No one feels secure in America. I have never been more afraid of the future than I am right now. Nothing in our country has improved since January 2021.

You libs wanna tell me “it’s global”. Screw you. This is America we don’t wallow around in the land of “there’s nothing we can do”. Where is the American leadership? Where are the American solutions? Why did this administration know last fall that the Abbott situation could have a serious impact on our ability to feed our babies and do nothing? Where is the change of course on energy to give the oil companies the incentives to pump unprecedented amounts of oil and natural gas out of the ground? Where is the White House Summit to discuss food security for all Americans. (By the way Republicans should be screaming these questions from the top of the mountains too?)

If libs think anyone is going to be satisfied with “there’s nothing we can do it’s global”…screw ‘em. Where are the damn solutions?

And let’s not forget the lefts unrelenting (lies of course) about Trumps poor handling of Covid. That lie pretty much cost him the election. Remember when TJ said any president that presided over 200,00 (or maybe 250,000) covid deaths shouldn’t be president? That HE WOULD LOCK THE VIRUS DOWN, not the American people! Yes, inflation and gas prices are global issues but does anyone really not think that US government shutting down pipelines, halting drilling and printing trillions of dollars in new spending did not contribute to both of these ?

No, I don’t think shutting down pipelines and halting drilling had much of any effect on current oil prices. The problem was that a lot of refineries lowered output and/or shutdown which lowered our output and gas producers are nervous about opening them all up again considering the investment and the time it takes to get them back up and running.

Making the printer go burrr did most likely effect inflation… but from my understanding not as much as the supply issues.

Oil companies spend billions of dollars to first find the oil, then drill, then transport, it may take years to produce oil profitably in a given area. But it only takes a few seconds with a pen for a president to stop them dead in their tracks causing a multi billion dollar loss and loss of the time it took.

Biden campaigned on eliminating fossil fuels. He was going to continue the war Obama started against the fossil fuel companies and do everything he could to shut them down and make the production of fossil fuels prohibitively expensive. You Libs continually claim that shutting down keystone did nothing to reduce current supply or raise current prices. What it was was the opening salvo of Biden’s war against fossil fuel companies. On day one in office, It showed them exactly what Biden’s intentions were. Their every intention and plan to produce and transport FUTURE oil was immediately put in doubt. Why the hell would they continue future plans to find and drill knowing the ass bag in the White House could shut them down in a second?
