I like the thumbs up. Lol. That guard has a good job, but he’s probably his food taster too.
I think the concern is arming them, not as much as they are there that is no secret.
Small world what part JayJay? My wife’s mother and father live in the western part of the Ukraine they should be safe but her little brother attends college in Kyiv.
Hope your relatives stay safe
Putin looks like he’s getting ready to applaud. Need another couple seconds to make sure.
Well, if you want Nazis to kill Russians, you have to give them weapons
What’s the difference between that and backing a bunch of terrorists? Seems par for the course in hiring a bunch of dirt bags to do wet work.
Well we sure moved on from the punch a nazi day a few years back to now arm a nazi with taxpayer money
If Hitler invaded hell I would make at least a favourable reference to the devil in the House of Commons.
~Winston Churchill
But here in America? Nazis still need to be punched.
I don’t see much difference at all. But when faced with an existential threat, one takes whatever help one can get.

Not really though. lol
Hilarious two thumbs up response!!
Might have gone in for a pinch without security guy flailing
Is this the Corona virus thread?

But in this case? Absolutely.
Just make sure to give them the honor of the heaviest action against the Russians.

They’ll more than likely just turn into another ISIS when we’re done arming them and reneging on every and all promises we make to them up until that point. Then we’ll have a reason to stay.
War, war, war! We haven’t had enough of it over the last 5 years.
But here in America? Nazis still need to be punched.
There are no Nazis in the US.

Fascists are less evil than communists?
SixFoot: JayJay:I know there are Neo-Nazis there and I know the West has backed them.

Ukraine wasn’t under existential great when we started backing them.
This was when we played a role in them forcing the pro-Russian government out.
From the article you posted.
“But critics point out the Canadian Forces does not actually conduct vetting of those foreign troops that it trains, which is at the heart of the problem. It leaves such vetting up to the nation providing the troops to be trained.”
Well ya if that’s true some could have very well been trained by these groups. The biggest is the Azov battalion they have been incorporated into the Ukrainian national guard but have somewhat autonomy on their actions from what I have read.
They are many other far right groups there but the Azov battalion is the biggest by far. They are mostly congregated in east southern Ukraine in the city of Mariupol. My wife’s family lives in the Ukraine the last time we were there was in 2016 visiting was planning on going back right when covid hit. We saw a few of the Azov battalion soldiers and their logos make them stand out while in the town of Ivano Frankisk her home town which isn’t to far from the polish border.
So they are plenty of them and they have expressed their views openly. The government can’t kick them out they are literally some of it not their best fighters look at wiki “battle of Mariupol” it was the first battle Ukraine won when the conflicts began it was the Azov battalion who came in when the government troops were on the run and did the fighting and routed the separatists out of the city. Since they are held as heroes in Ukraine.
That’s not to say they are not many Ukrainian soldiers who are not with Azov or hold their views but it shouldn’t be understated as if it’s some fringe force it’s not they are large, well trained, and armed to the teeth. And yes literal Nazis the real deal not the tiki torch idiots in this country.
So was that a “yes”?
If someone isn’t being vetted, it’s always on purpose, and for specific reasons.
