Somebody found a handful of people whom we don’t know who they are giving a fascist solute and this is proof that millions voting for that party are fascists? No.
Or are they semi fascist?

Could’ve just wrote “TL;DR”
Romano La Russa, the party’s candidate for the Lombardy region, doing a Roman salute. Both he and the party immediately defended the gesture as a “military tradition”, despite the obvious associations in Italy and beyond.
Emphasis mine.

They want to stop the flood of immigrants into Italy.
They are clearly nationalists.
From the standpoint of the EU as constituted today that puts them in line with Poland and Hungary as far right wing.
Do they want to reestablish the mare nostrum by war and imperialism?
I have not read so.
It seems to me, as far as the EU, that only a short while ago the left was wailing about a foreign power trying to influence our elections.

You already called it a fascist solute when you doubted their identity.
They’re probably going to win.
There’s no reason for American conservative bystanders to go so far, defending the fascist enemy of their enemy.
so she kicked the fascist out and now its on the right. good job!

No, because they say so.
One of the previous heads of the party stated, “We are all heirs of Il Duce”
Some of their local leaders have also called themselves fascists.
Assange was put away forever just for saying the DNC hack was an inside job. No trial.

50+ years of fascist history, but a couple of “no we are not fascist” from the current leader is all it takes to convince you guys?

Seven big boogeymen, and the conservative solution always looks the same.

When nothing remains of the old extreme Left that is extreme to the Left anymore everything seems ti the the far Right to them.
I mean the European left cannot be surprised.
They basically created the reactionary backlash because of their stupid decisions regarding the migrant crisis and the long running European economic crisis.
They should be blaming themselves for the rise of new age European fascism. They didn’t take people’s reasonable concerns into consideration. Eventually that was going to radicalize reactionaries.

The last time they accepted Republican victory in the presidential election was 1988, when Bush senior won by a landslide.

and from the story posted the current head of the party has worked hard to root them out.
good job.
My thought was '84 wasn’t really really an election but more of a bloodbath.
