MSNBC didnt tell me that.

They’re always going to work with us. They need us more than we need them. Trump can use walking away from our alliance as a negotiating tactic in order to get a better deal.

Does the relationship change between the teams playing in the World Soccer competition when they walk off the field? France won and is one of our closest allies…would they be your friend or foe while we played them? How about right afterwards? Would it matter if we won or lost? NO! Everything is context my friend and yours and many others’ here is screwed up.

I don’t discriminate. Fox can be fake news too.

In what context was Trump calling the EU a foe of the United States? I doubt he was talking about soccer.

Your right context matters…this ain’t soccer

….as an economic competitor with a negative trade balance.

Ahhh… so are you ignoring the fact that Trump only mentioned the economic aspect of competition. I guess you mentioning the intelligence community is an attempt to bring white foamy saliva to your fellow libs’ mouths.

I think you were successful.

You’re too funny…

It’s my contention Trump sees the EU as a political foe, because they’re liable to meddle in our elections to elect Democrats to office. Since we’re doing nothing to ensure that doesn’t happen again.

I made it as elementary as I could so now I recommend you stop treading water and get back into the shallow end before you drown.

Look at you, defending our president.

Economic only

What’s a shame is that due to the real stress this is causing libs, this is not funny. Ok…it is.

French President Emmanuel Macron may have been a little too subtle for Donald’s very good brain to pick up on, but his position was clear:

ā€œPresident Trump is the leader of a great country. So he does what we all do. When we draw up a communique, we generally read it, we negotiate, and then we support it. So he knows what he’s signed up to.ā€

i.e. Donald can say whatever he wants to give his Trumpists the goosing they crave, but in the end he’s obligated to fulfill US commitments.

I’m enjoying your spin…very entertaining!

MSNBC lying by omission. They leave off Trumps whole statement that he views EU as a trading foe.

Liars.

Watching the trumpets twist into knots trying to add ā€œcontextā€ to Trumps comments is just sad.

Going into the weeds of semantics, when it is clear as day Trump dislikes the EU and NATO. He NEVER speaks negatively about Putin yet takes a dump on our allies and their leaders.

Stop hiding just embrace it, still stupid but at least honest.

Just remember…even though we are foes right now, we are still ā€œweā€ and not enemies. :us:
