And while not enough significant evidence yet, this string of egg plant fires does at least provoke the suspicion of being a deliberate attack on the nation’s food supply.

This one fire shouldn’t have any effect on the price of eggs though. There are something like over 300 million laying hens in the US. Avian flu kills millions and feed price increases are the main drivers. But yes, seem to be a lot of “accidents” surrounding food production lately.
