New York City Mayor Eric Adams has been indicted after a federal corruption investigation, but the indictment is sealed and it is unclear what charges he will face, the New York Times reported on Wednesday, citing people with knowledge of the matter.

It was really easy to see coming years ago. The first real clue to those who were kind of paying attention was when Adams gave his brother a cushy job.

So for a couple of years I have been saying this.
His entire government has been falling apart for a few weeks now.
This indictment is likely related to the scandal of his camaign taking money from Turkey in excahnge for approving building permits for a building that is not up to code.
I also wouldn’t be surprised that we will see shenanigans surrounding the no bid contracts awarded to companies during the influx of migrants. There has been a very public feud between the Mayor and comptroller over that. I would not be surprised if there is a massive kickback scheme going on Adams.
The city basically elected a dirty cop and the entire administration is in on the grift.
We had a couple that managed to be not completely dirty.
Bloomberg was a rich tyrant but pretty clean.
DeBlasio abused public perks and just sucked at the job… but didn’t do what Adams is doing.

Surprise is that any jury in N Y would EVEN issue an indicment.

I was backing the mostly competent technocrat.
NY Grand Jury to indict one of their own…NO…you don’t see that often.
