Disregard the second part. never mind

Because human nature. I don’t want equality of outcome, as a Lib I want an equal start position. This is also difficult but it’s something i’d like to see society strive for. And Yes the government should be involved in that. I am Lib.

At the end of the day, the question has been answered. Enthusiasm is hard to predict.

Why?

Because as an immigrant my parents brought me here so that I have an opportunity and i want the existence of opportunity for everyone. The idea that it already exists equally across the board is wrong imo.

It doesn’t, that’s true. Opportunity does, not equal opportunity.

But it doesn’t answer my question. What difference does it make where you start?

If you start behind… it’s harder to get to the finish line, whatever that may be for every individual.

What are you asking?

I see…so expressing his own opinion is authoritarian.

Democrats pass a law to force people buy a product…not authoritarian.

But saying one’s opinion is authoritarian?

Forcing people to wear a face diaper isn’t authoritarian…but wanting all legal votes to be counted is?

Strange world libs are living in.

Equality of outcomes

He’s not expressing an opinion.

He’s telling a lie.

He has no evidence for the charges he’s bringing.

And it doesn’t matter that he doesn’t because that’s not the point of him telling these lies.

Once again…this notion that all opinions are equally valid and must therefore each be given equal consideration needs to be done away with.

Not because “I say so” but because it’s not true and is a dangerous thing to believe.

no the outcome is different for every individual. I added realizing that’s what my post will seem like

I wonder what effect the national face diaper mandate and a national shutdown will have on voter enthusiasm.

Different is not unequal.

So no dead people voted.

I’m starting to think libs don’t have a clue what authoritarianism is.

Well, seeing that we just had the most important election of our lifetime, I think everything else is kind of anticlimactic at this point.

The odds that dead people voted in any great numbers…enough to impact the election…is virtually zero.

All examples brought up this far were found to either be false or were ferreted out by election authorities before any vote was cast.

No system is completely free of fraud and cannot be.

But that does not mean that If we find one instance of fraud, that means there are thousands and thousands of undetected cases of fraud we didn’t catch.

Anyone who believes this does not understand statistics, and does not know how our election system works.

And these things are easy TO learn and know.

That some people don’t know leads me to believe they don’t want to know.

My last comment on this subject except to tie it to my comment that I expect Republicans to be the most enthusiastic the next several years because many of them have bought into the narrative that vast forces are arrayed against them to end their “way of life”.

And when you feel an existential threat you get very enthusiastic about trying to stop it.

I wonder what impact on enthusiasm raising taxes will have.

I don’t make $400k a year (which is BS), but you know who does?

My mortgage and insurance companies
My grocery store
The gasoline companies
The restaurants where I eat
My electrical company
My internet company
My phone company
My clients who pay me

Wonder what’s going to happen with all that?

Republicans as I think they will take this loss as a chance to reset and relaunch as a true FISCALLY responsible Conservative Party

Well hell, it didn’t happen then. I’ll curb my enthusiasm.

Never happen
