Harris’s biggest endorsement was certainly Obama. That’s a get out to vote for Democrats. He’s still beloved by the Democratic Party and even some independents look back on him fondly these days.
For Donald, I’m not sure. All the living Republican presidents are sort of hated by Democrats and weirdly enough despised by modern Republicans. So no idea really.
They both want the American people. That will be decided at the election.

I would imagine her campaign would jump for joy if they got Nicki Haley’s endorsement instead of having to rely on Liz Cheney as the Republican women’s voice.
Of course she already nabbed Taylor Swift not much bigger than that. If Harris loses I would hope people can see how little endorsements mean in this day.

I think you’re right about Musk’s endorsement of Trump: he’s got the combination of money, celebrity, self-absorption, and antisocial futuristic-thinkfluencer cred. Plus, what he lacks in conscience, he makes up for in his willingness to set tens of millions of dollars on fire.
The Harris endorsement question’s harder, probably because she’s trying to hold together a broader range of factions.
I have no idea whether or how endorsements affect voter behavior.

For trump its RFK by far, trumps handling of covid pissed off a lot of otherwise would be trump voters and rfk supporting him helped smooth that over. Musk rfk and tulsi supporting trump really helped trumps image and makes the nazi label look even dumber too anyone without extreme partisan brain rot.
Pretty sure most people voting Kamala are doing it because she is running against trump so endorsements don’t mean much to her

Used to be a massive deal.
Used to be that everyone and their dog weren’t running to whatever platform to exercise their sense of self importance by letting everyone know who they support.
Now, anyone who has had their name listed in the credits of a low budget B grade movie over the last 3 decades thinks the world needs to know who they’re voting for.

This question is a no brainer.
For Harris, its obviously Biden, without which she would not even be the nominee (Thank you Joe, I never underestimated your ability to ■■■■ things up!)
For Trump, its obviously RFK Jr, whose endorsement took the wind out of the joy/joy vibes post convention bounce and prevented it from turning into a permanent bump.
