I understand that you like this post. But given that a majority of voters will probably support the Democratic candidate in 2020 – as has happened in all but one election in this century – what is your message to them? You are treating their concerns as having no validity. Is that simple elitism or truly superior wisdom.
Explain your position rather than insisting on it.

We are already doing that. The USA has the lowest emissions of any other country without destroying the economy or driving us back to the horse & buggy era. We are totally oil independent as well as having the cleanest air and water on the planet! No need to “switch” to propellers and panels! 
Every presidential election in the past 20 years have had the Democratic runner with more votes than the Republican. I believe Bush 2004 was the only republican to get the majority vote.

Your reference to socialists strikes me as inappropriate in this thread because the point of the OP’s initial article (I am the OP) is Elizabeth Warren adopting a decidedly capitalist solution. Why call someone a socialist when they are clearly are not. Doesn’t that undermine the perception that you speak accurately.
I think its too far out to predict the winner of the election… what I predict is that majority of votes will go Democratic, just because that’s been the pattern throughout this century and the demographic trends are pushing the electorate further in that direction.

One thing I have learned here is that when a Trump supporter has no argument to make they trot out the insults.
You can call me names – I understand that the President has set the childish standard that one calls those one disagrees with names – and you are just aping his bad example.
I don’t flag people for name calling because I believe the use of insults reflects more on the speaker than the person they are trying to insult. So feel free to call me anything you like.
But in the interest of having a political discussion – rather than name calling – please explain your objection to “market-based”. Free market decision making is the essence of capitalism. Is there something about capitalism that you object to? Or explain why a system of having investors allocate funds based on information is not a market-based solution.
